عزى بالانجليزي

If you attribute something to an event or situation, you think that it was caused by that event or situation.

عَزَى نَجَاحَهُ إِلَىْ دَعْمِ وَالِدَيْهِ

He attributed his success to his parents support

يُمْكِنُ أَنْ نَعْزِيْ فَشَلَهُ إِلَىْ سَبَبَيْنِ رَئِيْسِيَّيْنِ

We can attribute his failure to two key factors

to believe or admit that someone has the quality, or has done something good

عُزِيَ الاكْتِشَافُ إِلَىْ أَحْمَدَ

The discovery was credited to Ahmed

اعْزِ بَعْضَ الفَضْلِ إِلَيَّ

Credit me with some merit

if something is credited to someone or something, they have achieved it or are the reason for it

يُعْزَىْ نَجَاحُ لِيْفَرْبُوْلَ إِلَىْ يُوْرْغِيْنْ كُلُوْبْ
